Now it's pretty difficult to search for new but good laptop. You need to know what kind of laptop that could become your "soulmate" before you choose to buy anything. Remember that everyone has different characteristic one to another so you don't want to get disappointed. If you never play heavy games, why should you buy an expensive gaming laptop? You know what I mean? OK, these are my tips that can help you to make the best choice

1. Try to be efficient. If you are so rich, it's normal if you buy an expensive laptop. But if you are not, try to find alternative brand like AMD (not Intel). You need to know that the most famous brand is not always much better than its competitors.


2. If your budget is extremely small, you still need minimum 512 MB RAM memory. I think a memory under 512 MB is useless. To open the latest soft wares, 512 MB RAM is crucial. Of course you can easily find a laptop with 2 GB RAM memory and with reasonable price.

3. For gamers, maybe Intel Core 2 Duo (each 1.8 GHz) is enough because you need to spend more for your graphics card and memory. But for people who need to run programs faster, I think Intel Core 2 Duo (with each processor speed around 2.2 GHz) is the best bet. But like point number one, AMD is also great.

4. Don't trust unpopular brands. I think you need to find a laptop from famous manufacturers like Dell, HP, or Acer. They know what they are doing.

5. Now the most important thing. Find out what features that your laptop provide. If your laptop has less than 3 USB ports and has no FireWire port, you must try to look somewhere else. You must know why you need a new laptop and for what reason. Ports and internet connection features are very important.
